Congratulations to Jeremiah Trundle for being named V3Fights’ June “Fighter of the Month!” Trundle is possibly the most popular MMA fighter (both amateur or pro) in the entire mid-south area! When he enters the cage, his cheering section is by far the biggest in the venue! He is currently 3-0 and trains out of Memphis Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. Trundle has not been past the 1:19 mark in any of his fights and it’s safe to say he’s one of the most exciting fighters around. In March he became V3Fights first ever heavyweight champion.
Jeremiah started his combative sports career as a wrestler at Millington Central High School where he was a state champion in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. It was there where he met Brian Hall (V3Fights’ Bantamweight Champion). After high school he attended a few of Brian’s fights and Brian asked him to come train and the two re-united as teammates. If everything goes according to plan, he anticipates turning pro at the end of this year or the beginning of next. He eventually wants to fight in the UFC and his short-term goal is to be the #1 ranked amateur heavyweight in the state. He is currently working for a company called AAC on the Naval Base and that allows him to train five days a week for 3-4 hours a day.
Trundles biggest influences in his life are God and his family. When not training or competing, he is busy giving back to his community. He has done work for Relay for Life and coaches high school wrestling at his old high school. It won’t be long before we will see Jeremiah Trundle in one of the major organizations, but for now we can all look forward to seeing him fight in the V3 cage real soon! So congratulations to Jeremiah Trundle for being named V3Fights’ June “Fighter of the Month
